On intersexuality -- physiological and genetic causes, ethical concerns regarding surgery on infants, differences between being intersexed and being trans, manners in which different cultures and religions have dealt with these concepts.

*hehe* I love it when people give me an opening... I was good; I did ask whether they wanted more explanation once I'd answered the initial question about how someone could have "conflicting" physical characteristics (it had come up in a conversation I wasn't paying attention to until they started reaching for words to try to explain what they meant).

Huh. Now I'm trying to remember whether it's actually my phrase, or whether I got it from someone else. I think I made it up, but I'm not certain.

Guerilla education, I like that term. "Viral politics" is another of my favorite little off the wall political terms.

The 21st centry is at least turning out to be interesting in vocabulary if nothing else.
