The problem with the Assange investigation is that there is way, way, way too much conflation between investigation of Wikileaks and investigation of the rape allegations. We KNOW that Assange didn't commit a crime by leaking cables. We do NOT know whether or not he committed a crime against either or both of the two women in Sweden, and we won't know until a jury comes back with a verdict. Until then, however, both the U.S. and Swedish justice systems say that Assange gets the benefit of the doubt.

Should Olbermann or Moore be making light of accusations? No. But until a court says otherwise, Julian Assange is not a rapist.
