So damn sleepy today... Was exhausted on my way home yesterday, enough so that I fell asleep on the bus. Got home and took a nap in the early evening that ended up lasting until sometime around midnight, at which point I was all awake until around 3am. Not ideal, given that I get up at 5:30. Blarg. I should get a quiz back in lab today, and my exam back for lecture. We'll see how they went.

I'm thinking about trying to schedule myself for more patient-instructing again despite the hip probs, since the extra income would be really handy. But if physical therapy becomes a regular thing on Wednesdays, and I've got class Tues/Thurs, and counseling every other Monday, I don't see how I'm going to schedule enough sessions to make much of a difference, really. Classes will be over by May 11th, though, which will free up two nights a week. That's not too far off.

I'm definitely having a bit of post-excitement slump -- always happens the day or two after an anticipated event (seems like that's true of most people, from what I've gotten from conversations). Feeling a bit overwhelmed and down, despite there being very little to really be feeling that way about.

It could be the weather too. I don't know why but I've been uber blah yester and to days and I'm not coming down from anything.

Francesca has been cranky too.

I don't think so. I'm finding the weather pretty ideal recently.

I always slump after events, though. During college, it happened like clockwork after every Halloween and every "I". It happens when I get home from visiting people I like, and it happens when people who are visiting me leave.

*grin* Let's! I'm thoroughly behind on my movie-watching, and I think I need to fix that.

I definitly understand the post-slump. After an upswing I can garuntee there will be a mood to counterbalance it after.

And I'm in love with your icon.

I got that one from [livejournal.com profile] brujah, I think (the notes would say for sure, if you check my icon page). She's got quite the amazing collection.

I totally get post-excitement slump. It can be pretty rough, though. I do think most folk experience it, but some a bit more than others.

Oh, definitely. It doesn't hit me anywhere near as badly as it did when I was younger, at least.
