Bats!
The Bat Man is Back
Rob Mies, Director of the Organization for Bat Conservation, returns to the Great Lakes Science Center
Sunday, October 14
1:45PM, 3:30PM
Join him and his live bats for an educational and interactive program about the importance of bats in our ecosystem. You don't want to miss the big fruit bats with wingspans of 6 feet!
Event Time(s)
Sunday, October 14th, 1:45am - 12:am
Sunday, October 14th, 3:30am - 12:am
Anyone want to go? I don't know yet whether it's just cost of admission, or whether there are separate tickets, but I think the former.
Also, I'm likely going with some friends to Nights on Lake Eerie
Back by popular demand. Almost Overnight!
The Great Lakes Science Center will be transformed into wizardry school for the evening. Create and test potions, dispel and design illusions, and complete in a wizard trivia challenge... with questions from all seven Harry Potter books! It's destined to be a magical night including a snack in the Great Hall and a viewing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on our OMNIMAX screen!
Event Time(s)
Saturday, October 20th, 7:00am - 12:am
Friday, October 26th, 7:00am - 12:am
Saturday, October 27th, 7:00am - 12:am
Friday, November 2nd, 7:00am - 12:am
(there's also a full overnight on some other days). This one is $24, and should be fun. Just passing the word.
