Answer #1

When you're struggling to express yourself, what sort of art mediums would you turn to? Pick three, and rank 'em.

Actually, this is one of my major frustrations in life -- I haven't really found a creative outlet that connects for me. The sciences come to me much more naturally than the arts, and the arts that I do do tend to be very structured (like cross-stitch, for example) rather than expressive.

I'd say writing is my primary form of expression.
I'm also tempted to say "educating", because there are very creative, expressive elements there, and it's something I find to soothe that need to express myself.
Of the "fine arts", I've generally been much more comfortable with sculpture and pottery and 3-D types of work than 2-D. I used to make little figures out of the scrap wire from 25-pair cable, for example. And I've never been skilled at pottery, but it'd something I've always enjoyed when I've had the opportunity to do it.

I'm under a curse. No love there either. I'll probably get 15 copies at once now...

*chuckle* Most likely.

Anyway, the short answer is "yes, absolutely!" (pending asking [livejournal.com profile] lunatickle to help me with the project when I see her on the 24th)
