This was a pretty good weekend all 'round. I was working solo escorting, so although I did a lot more running than usual, I also got a lot more reading time than usual, and I'm finally mostly caught up on all the backlog of articles I've meant to read in the past two weeks. Unfortunately, there were all sorts that I thought "gee, I'd like to post this", but odds that I'll remember to go through the 500 pages or so and pull URLs at this point are, honestly, pretty slim.

Saturday evening, I went to see Spawn of the Petrolsexuals with

jen_tel and

grf, and had a wonderful time both during, and hanging out after. I also discovered that New Neighbor (the third floor apartment) was in one of the leading roles. We just keep getting more and more of a good feel from her; I'm so far really pleased to have her in the house. So much more fun and interesting than our last housemate (the mostly-absent Jimmy), or the Very Nice Girl We Had Nothing in Common With (whose name I can't even recall), or the Snipey Bitchy Girl, or even our first upstairs neighbor, Matt, who was entertaining, in his own alcoholic sort of way, but could be irritating as well (especially his overt fascination with whatever girl/girl sex might be occuring in our apartment). New neighbor feels either queer or exceedingly queer-friendly (big plus in this house), and is friendly, funny, and artistic (in weird little local plays and a local band). Hoorah!

Other than that, not a lot to report.

Karl Rove Resigning: I'd say Break Out the Champagne, but I'm sure he's just doing to avoid the legal repercussions of his conniving and flat-out evil ways
