A. Not one that I would describe as "primary or primary-path", but I have some really wonderful people in my life in various fashions, and am pretty ridiculously happy with my relationship dynamics at the moment.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. To be a zookeeper, zoo vet, naturalist, run a nature/animal rehab center... Sensing a theme yet?
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. I'd really like to be able to sing or dance naturally and comfortably. Not amazingly well, but comfortably well.
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. Hot black tea with lots of real cream and sugar, or Dr. Pepper, or once in a great while, a Lindemann's Framboise or RedBach.
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Artichokes. Also asparagus.
6) What was the last book you read?.
A. Currently reading Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex
7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Scorpio. Apparently I'm supposed to be all kinds of crazy jealous and secretive. Uh-huh.
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. Piercings still in place: earlobes, tongue, outer labia (both), horizontal clit hood. In the past, nipples, navel, tragus.
Tattoos: Right ankle, swallowtail kite. Left shin, Dawn Treader. Hip, yin-yang surrounded by my snake's pattern. Shoulder and back, fertility figures.
9) Worst Habit?
A. lack of "won't" power.
10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
A. If it seemed at all like you needed a ride, yes, almost definitely. Unless I had someone in the car who didn't pick up hitchhikers themselves. If you were someone I knew, absolutely.
11) What is your favorite sport?
A. Ninja Warrior
12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
A. It depends almost entirely on my mood. I think I have a relatively positive attitude about the fact that crap sometimes happens, though.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Chat with you if you were the least bit able to and interested in conversation. Otherwise settle in and read the book I always have with me.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. I'm really not sure. Which probably means I've had a pretty good life, with only the general assortment of crappy stuff.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
A. My left thumb is double-jointed, but nothing else is. I can triple-roll my tongue.
16) Do you have any pets?
A. Boy, howdy. Six cats (four of which are permanently mine), two dogs, one snake. Also regularly have three other dogs visiting (from downstairs and upstairs).
17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly?
A. If I've ever interacted with you, and enjoyed the interaction, probably quite pleased. I like company, especially random drop-in company. I'm an exceedingly social homebody. If I'd never met you before, it'd depend on the impression you made on me, but I'd probably at least invite you in for a while.
18) What was your first impression of me?
A. If you're someone that I met first via lj (and almost all of you are) then I likely 'met' you though a community or a mutual friend, and my first thought was like "this person seems interesting", "this person seems to like similar things to me", "this person seems to hold similar positions to mine", and almost certainly some combination of those. (stole this from part of Fin's answer).
19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
A. Not cute, but not really scary, either. Frequently kind of annoying.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. I'd like my face to stop randomly breaking out. I'm in my thirties, for fuck's sake.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
A. Depends on the crime. I tend to believe in social order and mutual respect, and I follow laws I consider sensible. On the other hand, if I consider a law unjust, I have absolutely no problem with breaking it, and sometimes take particular pleasure in doing so as an act of rebellion. I'm much more ethical than lawful. If I thought it was unethical, you'd hear about it. If I thought it was ethical but unlawful, I'd evaluate the practical risks, but probably be right there with you if I judged them reasonable.
22) What color eyes do you have?
A. My ID says green. Green-blue-gray with a yellowish ring around the middle; they look very different depending on what I'm wearing.
23) Ever been arrested?
A. Shockingly, no.
24) Bottle or can soda?
A. I like the taste best from a can, but only if I'm drinking it right then. I mostly go with bottles, because I carry them around with me, and don't usually drink them in one sitting. I really dislike fountain sodas (ok, fountain Dr. Pepper -- it's the only soda I drink).
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?
A. Um, pretty much what I just did with it. Share a good deal, get a large array of relatively inexpensive purchases that add to long-term life happiness, often on a pretty practical level. Finish my tattoo. Pay off my old debts.
27) What's your favorite place to hang at?
A. My couch. I'm an inveterate couch-sleeper; I generally only sleep in my bed when I'm sleeping with someone. This little corner is entirely designed for my comfort; it has the wonderful afghan my mom knitted for me, my extra-long pillow, my laptop, all my random crap, and my pets. I'm happiest when there are also friends in the room. That whole "social homebody" thing again.

A. Nope. I could be convinced, but it would require some evidence.
29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
A. Being at home and having folks over. Conversation. Sex. Eating yummy things. Hallucinogens. Did I mention I'm also something of a hedonist?

A. Quite a lot, I'd say. I enjoy obscenity; I think it has a particular and important place in the English language. I especially love the word "fuck".
31) Biggest pet peeve?
A. People who eat while they're on the phone with customer service reps. Ew. It's almost amazing that, given the many things that don't gross me out at all, that totally does, if it's from a stranger.
32) In one word, how would you describe yourself?
A. Not sure I've ever used one word where many will do... I like "eccentric", and I use it to describe myself quite often, but I don't think it's particularly central to how I see myself.

A. Depends entirely on what's meant by the term. In my own way, yes, but it's probably not easily recognizable.
