So much for that quiet, recuperative weekend I had planned...

I'm exhausted. Took 200 calls yesterday. Today's already busier.

Oh, great. Someone just called off. And it's the someone who was supposed to be handling email and voicemail, so now I'm working on that. It's going to be a long day. I've already got a headache starting.

Yesterday was long and busy, but didn't suck, since I had some great students at patient-instructing. Came home and fell over, though. One thing I'm really going to miss when musicalchaos moves out is his knack for having brought home exactly what I would've been craving had I spent a moment thinking about it.

This weekend is definitely busier than I was planning it to be. Escorting Saturday morning, hopefully hanging out with Miles in the afternoon, Becca's bellydance performance Saturday evening, and Election Protection training on Sunday. Oy.

HBO's Hacking Democracy (premiering tonight at 9 pm/ET) tells the story of Bev Harris, a grandmother and writer who started investigating the subject of electronic voting in 2002 after questioning her county's switch to electronic touch-screen voting machines.


Additional note to household: Just got asked to work some overtime, probably only an extra hour or so. Not teaching tonight. Be home around 6 or so.
