Life in general.
May. 31st, 2007 09:11 amWell, I'm off to Kenyon tonight for the FLOO reunion, and my mood seems to be back up in normal ranges, which makes me feel better about being able to interact with and enjoy all the folks who'll be there. I'm still a bit worried about how the dogs will behave while I'm gone.
Mom's back out of the hospital and sounding better, but I'm not positive that's cause for unalloyed celebration. Our experience has generally been that they boot her too early because she seems improved 'enough' (insert critique of modern psych care and insurance issues here), and she's often back to suicidal and back in the hospital again within days of being released. The periods right after she's released too quickly are generally when we're most worried about true risk, so I'm feeling more tense and nervous about imminent safety issues at the moment.
