Full Body Project: Photographs by Leonard Nimoy

Everyone -

There is a new photo essay book coming out in November for all the amazing big girls on the planet and those who love us. It's actually by Leonard Nimoy (yes, Mr. Spock, believe it or not), who is a lifelong photographer and has been working with my friend Stephanie and a troupe of big-girl burlesque dancers (among other women) in San Francisco over the past couple of years to compile these amazing photos. I just checked Amazon and the book is now listed; you can see the front cover. Mr. Nimoy also has photos that will be included up on his website if you'd like a sneak preview.

For those of you who are familiar with the work of the late Heather MacAllister, lifelong BBW performer and fat acceptance activist, many photos of her and her troupe are included in this work.
