Ridiculously behind on LJ
Dec. 6th, 2007 11:05 amLife is really going quite well, and I'm what I'd describe as "spectacularly content", but a big chunk of that is because of a really engrossing project at work that's eating all my multitasking time (ok, probably only engrossing to me; it's reorganizing and recategorizing how we handle certain types of calls at the helpdesk). Given that I still haven't gotten around to fixing the router issue at home, that means that I'm barely skimming intermittently, and I'm behind on email as well. So, if there's something important, comment with a link or email me, or I'll likely miss it.
Currently reading The Orphan's Tales: In the Cities of Coin and Spice. If you have any love of fairy and folk tales at all, get it now, along with the first volume, The Orphan's Tales: In the Night Garden. Beautiful and intricate and marvelous.
Watching a combination of documentaries and late-night horror, still. If I didn't mention it in my last entry, Deadline is a really fascinating look at IL's research into their own death penalty issues. Highly recommended. And I'm enjoying (although haven't finished) So Goes the Nation, about the elections in Ohio in 2004.
I'm going to see Pulp at CPT on Friday with
jen_tel and some of her friends, and I'm not sure, but I might be getting together with
curiousredhead for a dinner tonight, and then this weekend is all about the relaxing, I think. I didn't think it was possible for me to become more of a homebody, but it autumn really bring out the "afghan and cuddly critters" mood.
