I also picked up my own copy of the first volume of The Orphan's Tales; I just finished the second volume a few days ago, and I'll definitely be rereading them soon to piece together the bits I missed on the first reading. And my copy of Nimoy's The Full Body Project (link not entirely worksafe), which I've been anticipating a great deal, and am very pleased with.

I'm currently reading A Passion for Books : A Book Lover's Treasury of Stories, Essays, Humor, Love and Lists on Collecting, Reading, Borrowing, Lending, Caring for, and Appreciating Books, which is a great collection, and seems apropos, given my recent obsession with and completion of (a major aspect of) my book cataloging project.

Also, I asked the folks at Visible Voice if they'd set a date for the rescheduling of Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, and it'll probably be this Sunday. Any Clevelanders interested? I'll almost definitely be going.

I woke up around 4am last night (this is pretty typical for me), and Grafton and I caught most of Feast. I haven't see the very end, since I went back to sleep for a bit before work, but so far, I'm finding it goretastically silly and fun.

Life is still good. Work is still crazy. Actually, work is getting crazier, but mostly better. For the next couple of days I'm in charge of the office, and I've got the finalizing of one of my projects next week, and am ridiculously happy about that, and I'm still doing a lot of training/education, which I enjoy, especially since it's now to the "come answer questions" point, rather than having someone sitting over my shoulder just listening to me take calls.

Now I'm just waiting for another check before I can finish with holiday purchases, and things are all good.
