Little rays of political sunshine...

One of the points of common conversation in our household, especially while watching the news, is how it's just plain lovely to be getting bits of good political news almost every day. Comparable to the manner in which the persistant pecking away during the last eight years depressed me on a daily basis, these are my little lifts and bright points. We've even talked about keeping a calendar, and just writing down the good bits each day. Overturning the global gag rule, signing the declaration for the decriminalization of homosexuality in the UN, ending the ban on media coverage of returning fallen soldiers, etc, etc, etc. And I know there've been many, many more, and I think I might start trying to document them here when they come up, just to remember in such a short attention span world.
