This was going to be the first linkety of a full post, but we all got distracted looking through and discussing possibilities for our household.

Akron area, Ohio: Save the Cat Lady -- we're currently in discussions in the household about either Roz or Ringo, but there are many others who need a home.

I've sent her an email, and I'm hoping we can arrange some meetings to see who does well in the household with the current cats and dogs.
Way Cool Kid -- A friend and ex-roommate from years back is now making truly fantastic kids clothing, often with recycled and upcycled fabrics! He's just getting started, but it looks like great stuff so far, and Thom's beyond awesome, so I fully expect the rest to follow suit.

And as long as I'm talking about cool stuff my friends do, I should make my semi-annual mention of Cupcake and Cuddlebunny, Rachel's kick-ass size 14-28 custom vintage clothing shop.
Um, I seem to have found the DeadHead episode of Doctor Who. Or Doctor WTF. (Terminus, with Peter Davison. Ooooh, scary skull wall murals!) The glam high-drama aliens don't quite fit the theme, though. More David Bowie than Jerry Garcia.

Also, what the hell does the Doctor see in Turlough? I do not get it.

Also, I wonder what happens when I use an animated icon -- how does that import into FB? I suppose I'll find out in a bit.
