Linkety-Linkety and Life in general
Oct. 9th, 2010 08:33 pmExhausted, but in a really good mood. Gorgeous weather today for escorting, so waking up painfully early was a touch less painful. And I got to hang out with Casey and Bill and a friend of theirs, so conversation was fun, and time passed quickly. It's been ages since Casey and I escorted together at the clinic, and we miss our social/gossip time. I barely noticed the protesters' bullshit, I was enjoying the company so much. Managed to sneak in a very brief nap before work, but wow, I could crash again this minute if it were an option. It may be a bit of a long evening, although I've got Revelation of the Daleks to watch, which seems to be an especially surreal Colin Baker ep about a funeral planet. And I'm really looking forward to dinner; it's my weekly carryout splurge now that Muldoon's has prime rib that makes three solid meals for $15. Mmmmmm, meaty goodness. And at the moment I have dried apricots and kettle-fried chips. Sometimes it's the little things.
