During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.
If this is true (h/t), it represents one of the more cynical actions I’ve seen from law enforcement, whose job it it to serve and protect, in a long, long time. According to Harry Siegel, cops in New York City are re-routing aggressive, drunken individuals picked up in parks across the city down to the protest site, taking advantage of the open-source nature of the protests.
Dodge's study "Administering Sexual Health-Related Services to Bisexual Men: Privacy, Trust and Appropriate Messaging" was the recipient of the annual Excellence in Abstract Submission award from the HIV/AIDS Section of the APHA.
Congressional hearing sought over voter ID laws sweeping states
About 4 million homeowners who may have been improperly foreclosed upon in 2009 and 2010 are getting an opportunity to have their cases reviewed. Whether they will be reimbursed is up to the same lenders who are accused of moving too swiftly to seize their homes.
