Feeling substantially better today, but it's still a "medicate like woah and drag my ass in to work" kind of day. Spending it mostly staring blankly at nothing, and intermittently poking at projects and tasks that don't demand functional brainmeats.
Highlight of the day was this morning, when Chad and Kidlet stopped by to open Kidlet's presents and get breakfast together (he was running a friend to the airport, which is why they were in town). It was early for both Chad and me, so we were pretty groggy, but Kidlet seemed to have a lot of fun, and has been sent on his way loaded down with goodies (including some awesome books Mom found in the family library that he'll grow into relatively soon). The penguin puppet and the magnifying glass were particular immediate hits. He's a little too rambunctious to sit down long for story time, but I find that if I keep reading while he plays around the room, he'll come back after a bit.
