Quite a pleasant day...

moominmuppetSo, I took yesterday as a "me day" (nothing holiday-related; I'd actually forgotten about that when I took the day off). Stayed home, spent time with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
bec76, musicalchaos, and the pets, watched the Olympics, did some chores, studied some for my lab quiz, and generally had a nice, relaxing day. On the way to class I stopped for sushi and mochi (a rare treat anymore, since with my new schedule I'm not often down around Tower City when the place is open). Both classes went well, and I spent the trip home making use of the new cell phone, and the V-day excuse, to call around to various folks and say hi (I'm finally starting to act on that "attempt to talk more to people" that I talked about ages ago). That's really about all at the moment; it was a low-key but decidedly nice day.
Today I'm planning on looking into making an appt with the rheumatologist that my counselor swears by. I've been talking to her a lot about my fibro concerns and frustrations, and I think I'm finally ready to at least consider wading back into the "medical treatment" thing. She thinks this doc will be able to work with me successfully in terms of power dynamics and such, so I'm willing to give it a try. Of course, given normal appt wait times, that "try" is probably several months down the road, at least, but hey. It's a step in some direction, at least.
