I'm a bit bummed, since it was my birthday plan, but also a bit relieved, because not having another late night is sounding pretty groovy right now.

I've been having a lot of weird mental flashes today; memories of random places from various points in my life and such (like my favorite fungus on the woodpile outside our back door when I was 8 or 9, for example). No idea what's causing them, but they're frequent enough it's a sort of odd experience. Also, still haven't killed the headache, despite more meds, and now I'm so tired I'm drifting out while talking (I'm really not exaggerating on this). Actually, there's probably a connection between the weird flashes and the drowsiness; I keep accidentally slipping off for 5 seconds here, 10 there, and I often fall directly into dreams/daydreams when I'm doing that.

15 more minutes, and then I'll at least be outside and vertical, and that'll help with staying awake and coherent.
