Nightmares again...

Third night in a row. I'm exhausted. I love sleep. Looooove it. I love dreaming. I resent having my brain do things to me that make me edgy about going to bed, for fear of what mood I'll be in when I wake.
Thankfully, at least Mike wasn't in the dream. That happened twice in a row, and was really getting me down, and stressing me out. This was a more typical generalized stress dream...
I was in the shower, trying to relax, masturbate, whatever. Only I kept getting helpdesk calls, and was trying to explain to irate users that I wasn't in front of a computer, and couldn't help them. And my mom was coming in and out of the bathroom, agitated, and yelling at me.
On the positive side, I just got an email from
forestfire, and plans to visit everyone in New York this weekend are definite; she just bought the bus ticket... Since I can't afford any time off work right now, it's only two days, but it's two days of vacation with people I love, which will be immeasurably good for me.

Date: 2003-03-04 07:53 am (UTC)I'm a huge fan of pressurized water. It's been one of the most consistent parts of my sex life for at least seventeen years, maybe longer. Hell, I've tried using waterfalls to get off.

Date: 2003-03-04 08:33 am (UTC)There's a spot on the Kokosing river, about 10-15 minute drive from Kenyon, called The Caves. Semi-inexplicably, it's actually a waterfall where part of the river splits off from the main branch for a bit, and then rejoins it. Sort of a time-honored skinny-dipping/stoner spot.

Still, that's got to be a pretty strong downpour at that point. I'd do the math, but my brain already hurts this morning. :P

*chuckle* Lots of convoluting factors there... A good portion of the flow (depending on the season) hops and jumps down the rocks, although some of it just flies from the top.

Date: 2003-03-04 09:05 am (UTC)I tell ya, my engineering background ends up being useful in the strangest places. I just wish I had gone the boy scout route - at least knots would be easier for me. Varible tension rigs I can do. Just don't ask me to keep a knot in my shoelace. :-\

Date: 2003-03-05 06:13 pm (UTC)Maybe this could be a book...The Physics of Orgasm. Hmmm, I wonder if that would be a grad level course or what? Maybe it should have a lab?
I mean, gee, I've heard of fluid mechanics but...OK, OK, on that note, I think I'm shutting up now, not EVEN going there.... 0:-).
Re:
Date: 2003-03-06 01:50 pm (UTC)I think that class would definitely require a lab.
