That's the first post I marked as a memorable post.
Tomorrow at MIT, we're having a walk out. Everyone who wants to will leave their work and classes at 11:30 and march to Government Center. One of the professors asked me why I was against the war, and I gave him a lot of reasons, including many on that post. I'm appreciative that someone collected so many of them in one place.
I'm really wishing I could do the walk-out, but I concluded that, while it wouldn't impede patient care if just I were gone, the entire premise is to shut-down/slow-down facilities and businesses. Since I work for a hospital, that's not a good goal here. One of the only times I've actually wished that I worked in the normal business sector, just so I could participate.
I agree that you should probably not go...But I'm happy to hear that the walk out is not just a local thing here.
I don't know if you've had a chance to read my post from today...but I think that if we let the war impede our Joy, and also the services we provide to help people in this country, we are failing...we're giving in.
I have had nothing to do here lately, I probably won't be missed. /:

I'm going to check it out now (I tend to start reading my friends page backward in the morning, so I don't tend to see really recent posts until I've caught up on the past 24-hours.)

I hope he sent that letter.
