And a brief life update -- nothing much has happened in the past two days; I've been down with a migraine, and accomplished exactly nothing. Also, I'm worried about Morph. He's acting weird and lethargic. A vet visit may be in the near future.

And now for the links:

I'm no slave to my cat! I can ignore him for hours when I'm not here.

The link to the creative coffins really interested me. I find the business of funerals fascinating and am particularly interested in eco-friendly and home-based funeral arrangements. PBS had a documentary on the home funeral movement a few years ago called "A Family Undertaking". Here's a link: http://www.pbs.org/pov/afamilyundertaking/ Everyone thinks I'm being morbid when I bring these things up, but I think it's a really important subject to talk about.

I totally agree; thanks for the link; it sounds fascinating! The traditional funeral industry is problematic and disturbing in all sorts of ways, and I'm really excited to see changes in how people are handling things.

I liked scattering my grandma's ashes on Lake Huron, although we had to be careful, because it's actually considered littering if you get caught! *grin* I love that her last act was one of civil disobedience. She'd've been happy about that.
