On the positive side, I finally got my meds, after three weeks of hearing nothing and being out of almost everything. On the negative side, seems to be just in time, since I'm definitely flaring. *grrrr* Good thing this weekend is likely to be very calm and quiet. The hot tub will be my friend. *nodnod* Also, really wish my backordered wrist braces would get here. I only have problems with my hands when I'm flaring, and the doc doesn't think it's actual carpal tunnel, although the symptoms are similar. I'm happy about that, at least. I'd rather have fibro symptoms (which are non-degenerative). Today's a bad joint day all 'round, though. Knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, back. Nothing's happy. I did push myself pretty hard physically this week, so it's not entirely unexpected, and at least I have my tramadol again, and it's Friday, so nothing "end of the world" about any of it.
And I have Zombieland waiting for me at home! Yay!
G's off to a Rainbow event this coming week, and my sister-in-law
tasharowan will be coming to stay for a week, about which I'm really excited!
I'm feeling a bit behind on practical elements of life, and hopefully I can devote some energy to those this weekend. I'd also like to get us listed as active on couchsurfing again, now that we're getting the downstairs back sorted out and visitor-ready. And being active on couchsurfing is good for me; it keeps me motivated on housework and house projects, and creates "deadlines" by which time things must be cleaned and tidied. Helps with my procrastination tendencies.
Today, though, even after taking a stim pill I could happily curl up under my desk and go straight back to sleep.
