Go Quentin!

Nov. 6th, 2003 09:56 am
Quentin's from a previous generation of Peeps, and I found out through our alum list that he recently wrote the cover story that Forbes ran on the marijuana industry, and he's done some pretty cool interviews recently on the topic of economics and marijuana decriminalization.

My favorite quotation from his post about the recent interviews:

" Now that Forbes has pulled the lid (so to speak) off the Canadian dope industry, I demand that High Times do a really hard-hitting piece on variable annuities!"

And now: A whole slew of articles I never thought I'd see in Forbes.

From the article: But it was also, leading opponents of abortion say, a validation of the movement's long-term strategy of incrementalism, restricting abortion step by step as part of the larger battle to turn public opinion against Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision that recognized a constitutional right to abortion.

I'd be fascinated to read these; I may order them some time when I've got the spare cash.

For some reason last night I was cast as a shapeshifter of some sort who transformed into a horse or donkey. Most of the dream, I was a four-legged hooved critter of some sort. Hanging out with my family. And functioning as a pack-animal. Weird. Especially since I don't particularly feel that my family places any notable burdens on me (which is certainly how I'd interpret that imagery).

And our copy of the Blowfish uber-catalog arrived. Gorgeous. And fun to read. I love those fishies, yes I do.
I didn't feel like giving out the password to this account, so I had it post to my "Friends of Sarah" journal, instead.
