This is not a cell phone...
Jan. 5th, 2006 06:53 amWhoops. Halfway to work with my ride this morning, I realized I still have one of the house cordlesses in my pocket. I guess it's a good thing we got the dual phone when we replaced the old one...

bec76, chameleonpixie and I went over last night to check out the stuff a friend of fabulousmisst is getting rid of, and I'm getting all three pieces for $50 (she's moving in a rush), which we can just manage right now, so it's working out perfectly. They're insanely comfy, and in a color I dig (dark green), and definitely of a more durable material than the ones that've been falling apart on us. We pick them up tonight, and last night musicalchaos and I had the obnoxious but thoroughly satisfying task of throwing the first and worst of the current couches to the curb. And it turns out I've met the woman who's selling them a number of times before; she used to live next door to lunatickle, down the street from me. She's very cool, and has a fabulous dog, and it ended up being a nice little visit, regardless of all the furniture goodness.
