Shatner presents!
Jan. 11th, 2006 07:52 amI got my first discs from the William Shatner DVD Club last night (yes, I just couldn't resist the temptation -- it made me giggle too much).
Upside, there was a random bonus disc! I got Ginger Snaps, which I've already seen, but really dig, and Wolves of Wall Street, which sounds, from the reviews, to be truly awful, but hopefully amusingly so.
Downside, the packaging kind of sucks. Both discs came in the same mailer envelope, which is also apparently supposed to be their case. I think if I'm continuing with the DVD club (which I likely will; $4/mo is pretty cheap for some good giggles, and just saying "William Shatner" tends to make me giggle), I'm going to invest in a basic CD/DVD wallet for them.
