Bill's DVD club
May. 10th, 2006 08:29 amSo, back in December I went ahead and subscribed to the William Shatner DVD club, because the whole concept made me giggle too much to pass up.
Now that I've gotten a half-dozen or so of the DVDs, I figured I'd provide an update of sorts (only "of sorts" because I haven't actually gotten around to watching most of them yet -- really should fix that one of these days)
As I mentioned when I got my first disk, my major complaint is the packaging -- cheap little cardboard envelopes. Since I'm paying somewhat less that $5/disk, though, I'm not deeply disturbed by this.
Anyway, here's the roundup so far:
Crazy as Hell
Ginger Snaps
Wolves of Wall Street (bonus disk with Ginger Snaps)
King of the Ants
Immortal
(um, I think I might be forgetting one -- I'll have to check when I get home)
Schlocky, silly fun. Pretty much exactly what I was hoping for.
