Good news, bad news.

Bad news, really rough flare day today. Good news, lab results back from earlier this week, and my x-rays and bloodwork are good -- no signs of any arthritic process, so that's a big relief.

Also good:
+ Mark drove me in today
+ Very sweet coworker just offered to give me a ride home
+ Awesome new partner is awesome about creatively getting around me being all broken
+ TENS unit and new meds should arrive sometime this week
+ My folks totally deserve a big "Yay, supportive parents" shout-out

Still waiting to hear on the FMLA paperwork. I'm going to call my rheumatologist today to check about that.

Sad Day...

Goodbye, Odetta

One of the points of commonality between my Grandmother and me was our taste in music. Odetta is the first singer I think of when I think of Grandma, and she's one of my favorite singers of all time; her voice gives me goosebumps with its power and its depths. It's a sad day.
