Go check out a Slashdot discussion I had about Space and read about cheaper, better, safer spacesuits that NASA decided to ditch in favor of clown-suit boondoggles at five hundred times the cost. Go read "Kings of the High Frontier" and wonder why we're not living in low earth orbit right now.
