moominmuppetSo, I've spent most of the morning paying bills, and all that joyous stuff. And, as long as I was being ResponsibleAdult-Girl, I scheduled a dentist appt for November, and got my glasses scrip reordered so I can get my glasses replaced on the 25th. I should be able to fill my med scrips tonight, too. Including the Nicotrol, so another quitting smoking attempt should be in the works imminently. Tonight will be patient-instructing, followed by a mad-dash of errands before Becca has to go to work.
Yup. Becca is, indeed, unfired. This is pleasing and good.

theferrett last night; which was much fun and entertainment. And he's now been introduced to our crackhead pets, and our perpetual disaster-zone of an apartment. We tried to offload our favorite piece of horrid art on him (Becca's ex named it "Don't eat the brown acid"), but couldn't find it under the piles of stuff in the storage room. But we will... Oh, yes, we will. And then it will be his burden to unload on some other poor unsuspecting soul. Or burn. Which would also be highly appropriate.
Anyway, the evening was an excellent combination of silly stories and good conversation. I enjoyed it immensely, and was bummed that it got so late so fast. Not that I was well-behaved about sleep. Aftertheferrett headed out, it occurred to me that 11:30 was probably a bit too late to call forestfire and leyloken, but I'd finally remembered to bring home Chad's number, and he's on PST. And I haven't talked to him in months (largely because I always forget to copy his number from my email and take it home with me). So, we caught up for a few hours, and I finally got to sleep around 2am, I guess.
