Weird dreams last night...

I finally finished running errands and got home around 9:30. Becca, Erik, and I hung out for a while, I chatted with forestfire briefly, and I finished reading Time Pressure before I crashed out.
And had deeply bizarre dreams as a result. Time Pressure was perfect for improving my mood. Spider Robinson's great that way for me; his idea of joy and mine are similar enough that reading his upbeat stuff is often like a bit like reading modern fairy tales custom-designed for my psyche -- "Um, ok, happily ever after -- can we replace the prince and castle with a mountain-top full of idealistic hippies and some ridiculously good, loving group sex, general communality and music? Great, thanks!" I'm not going to talk about the last half of the book, because it would be horribly spoilerish to even attempt to do so, but without being too spoilerish, I can say that my dreams last night involved lots of hippies at a big, happy, gathering (although the characters in the book had been replaced with various friends of mine). And no, this wasn't a sex dream. Just cheerful, and chaotic, and people and animals everywhere.
marea93 was definitely there; we were talking about pets, and there was a big dog she might have been taking home, and a cat nursing kittens that we were discussing. Given recent threads on the List, I'm betting some folks will find this unsurprising. I wish I remembered more details from this dream; it was long, and detailed, and pretty complex, but it's down to hazy wisps now.
