moominmuppetHad a voicemail when I got in to work this morning; James is back in port in Hawai'i. This is excellent news, since scheduling for the fishing ship he'd be observing had gotten kind of weird, and we were worried he wouldn't be able to be back in time to use his tickets to Alabama for Christmas. So, I'll definitely see him in AL when I go down there January 2nd.
And in other random news, I got a call from a friend of mine from Columbus, Fernando, last night. He was driving through town and ended up dropping by and hanging out for a while. I haven't seen him in ages, so that was a pleasant surprise.
Today there's some sort of tour (from one of the other local hospital helpdesks) happening in our office, so we have to be on 'best behavior'. *phhhtttbbbt*
