I feel sooooo much better.

I did end up cancelling counseling last night, unfortunately, because I was feeling way too crappy to extend my day by 4 hours, with at least two hours of that being "standing in the freezing cold at bus stops". Ah well. Anyway, I crashed hard when I got home, and all the extra sleep seems to have helped; I'm feeling dandy today.
And it's a good thing that I am, since today is "figure out the March Escort Schedule" day. Oh, joy.
1. When is the last time you rode the bus?
Last Thursday -- that's kind of surprising to realize, actually. Normally I ride them almost every day, although that's a bit less common now that I have a carpool to work (and home again, on days I don't have classes). I actually like a good deal about riding busses -- I like the human interaction, and feeling within the city, and I like the reading time. I don't like standing outside in subfreezing weather, however.
2. Describe the last time you stood up for a cause:
Hmmm. Aside from stating my opinions in personal conversations, probably last time I escorted at the clinic, which would've been Saturday, Feb 4th.
3. Have you visited Alabama?
My parents moved there from Michigan when I was in college (that was one hell of a shock!), so I've been down to see them quite a number of times. I think the last time I was there was for
jajy1979 and
tasharowan's wedding, since my family now gets together in Nashville instead of AL, as it's more central.
4. Have you ever attended a rally?
Many. Most recent major ones were the Reproductive Rights March in DC two years ago, and the massive antiwar march in New York right before we invaded.
5. Have you ever been arrested?
Surprisingly, no. The biggest legal issues I've had have been traffic and debt related.

Date: 2006-02-28 01:51 pm (UTC)Well, the "dandy" is mostly about how I'm doing physically (not fatigued and not hurting! Rock!) -- I can still feel a mild depression trying to get its teeth in, but I only notice it during "still" times, so it's still pretty minor, and will hopefully stay that way. I'm getting better, over time, at finding ways to keep the depression from feeding itself -- it's still there, but I feel more control over the tendency to spiral.
I had to Google that! Funny, I hadn't even realized it was Fat Tuesday today.
